Abstract
Writing a ‘How To’ provides an opportunity for authors to share good practice with the community; to inform, encourage and guide those who are new to the field; and to reflect on and articulate their experiences of working as clinical educators and trainers in real-world settings. Whilst a great deal of advice is available on how to write research papers for publication, little guidance exists on how to write and publish short instructional guides. This How To… article attempts to address this gap, functioning as a guide and providing practical advice on how to write a How to… article.
