Abstract

We prove a necessary and su±cient conditions for discreteness of the set of all eigenvalues of half–linear eigenvalue problem with locally integrable weights. Our conditions appear to be equivalent to the compact embedding of certain weighted Sobolev and Lebesgue spaces.
